05 December 2008 ==> New York, USA

I snapped this photo from 19 floors Radisson hotel room in the morning.

It's accesible to reach Brooklyn Bridge from Radisson Hotel. Just took the subway near hotel to the last station of line 6. (USD2 per one way)

Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge is a must-do if want a great view of Manhattan.. Empire Building is the tallest building in USA after the 911 attacks on the World Trade Center.

Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest steel-wire suspension bridges in the United States, connecting the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn on Long Island.

Since its opening, it has become an iconic part of the New York skyline. My Japanese colleague told me that the twin Gothic towers and strong steel cables make a striking silhouette against the night sky after dark, the most impressive night view in the world.
The Brooklyn Bridge has a wide pedestrian walkway open to walkers and cyclists, in the center of the bridge and higher than the automobile lanes.

Manhattan Bridge closed to Brooklyn Bridge.

I could see Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from here.

Chinatown in Manhattan, New York.

It just took approximately 15min walk from Brooklyn Bridge to Chinatown which located at Canal Street.

The residents here are mostly from Hong Kong or China.
